Version 0.2-placeholder. DRAFT: placeholder text, not legal advice and not final. Updated 14 October 2026.
Pulseee Pty Ltd operates Kosmo in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Your account details (name, email address, country), the invite you used, what you share with Kosmo (messages, files, connected accounts you choose to add) and records of what Kosmo does for you. We record when and which version of these documents you accepted, and the address you accepted from.
Where your data is kept
Your stored data (files, conversations, memories, knowledge and agent state) is kept in Microsoft Azure data centres in Australia. Your sign-in identity is kept in Australia.
What Kosmo remembers
Kosmo learns from your conversations as you go, so it can remember useful facts about you, such as your preferences, the people you mention and decisions you have made. Before anything is remembered, Kosmo removes passwords, keys and other secret-looking text. Temporary chats are never remembered. You can ask Kosmo what it remembers, and correct or delete any of it at any time. Deleting a chat does not delete what Kosmo learned from it; ask Kosmo to forget it as well.
Your AI Knowledge
When you add a file to Knowledge, Kosmo reads its text (including text in images) and indexes it so your agent can search it and answer from it. This processing, and the index itself, stay in Australia. Only your own agent can search your Knowledge. Removing a file from Knowledge removes it from the index.
Services you connect
When you connect a service (for example your smart lights, or another app you use), Kosmo sends requests to that service on your behalf, using the access you gave it. The keys and sign-ins you provide are kept in your own private storage for keys; Kosmo's agent uses them without ever seeing them, and they are never shown again after you save them. What a connected service receives is handled under that service's own privacy terms, and the service may be outside Australia. You can remove a connection at any time.
Processing outside Australia
Kosmo uses OpenAI models hosted by Microsoft. Your requests may be processed in Microsoft data centres outside Australia under Microsoft's data protection terms; they are not used to train models, and your stored data remains in Australia.
When Kosmo searches or reads public web pages for you, the web addresses and search queries are sent to a web search service outside Australia.
When you connect an app in Connections, Apps, Kosmo uses Composio, Inc. in the United States to hold that app's sign-in and to carry out what Kosmo does in the app at your direction. Composio receives the requests and the app's answers, does not keep their contents, and is bound by a data processing agreement. You can disconnect an app at any time, and deleting your account removes its connections.
We ask for your consent to this processing outside Australia before Kosmo does anything on your behalf.
When you delete something
Deleting a chat removes its messages, the files in it and Kosmo's working copy of it straight away. Deleting a file removes it straight away. Copies kept in our backups are removed automatically: within 14 days for files and within 7 days for everything else. Temporary chats are deleted 24 hours after their last message.
Your choices
You can view, correct and delete what Kosmo remembers, pause automatic learning, use a temporary chat that Kosmo does not remember, remove connections, download all your data, and close your account.
Security incidents
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.
Final text will replace this placeholder before Kosmo opens to invited users.
